Project Description: McCann Homes is proud to have played a key role in this unique, £2.7m brain injury rehabilitation unit. Designed by architects, Cound Webber, for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, and the result of multi-agency partnership and collaboration with the voluntary, health and social sectors, this new residential home is a flagship facility for the east of England. With Bedford Pilgrims Housing Association,
McCann Homes procured this development in a contemporary style building which provides 25 bedsits with shower-rooms. Ten of the rooms were built to wheelchair standard, and the facility has a commercial kitchen, treatment, common and other ancillary rooms. It was delivered for £107,829, including the purchase
of specialist equipment.
